Bhutan is unexplored and the paradise for Ornithologists and Bird lovers. More than 670 species of birds have been recorded and yet more to be discovered. Bhutan is winter home for more than 50 species of birds. There are many endangered species of birds in Bhutan. Black necked crane and White bellied Heron are some of the rarest birds in the world, which is found in Bhutan. Black necked crane can be spotted in Phobjikha valley, Bumthang and Bomdeling.
